POSITION PURPOSE   The Project Engineer, Closed Towers, will lead product development and system design for our product lines, including responsibility for features, schedule management, and product cost.  The position requires technical knowledge of our product application, concept development, detailed design, system performance, component interaction to develop a final product, reliability of the system, design for manufacturing, and general engineering fundamentals.  Work will be independent and the position looked at as the leader of project teams from a technical perspective interacting extensively with product management, manufacturing, supply chain, and other engineering functions. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for the on-time completion and management of new product development, sustaining, cost reduction, and other projects as assigned with the product category. Investigates and analyzes product design requirements and recommends optimum solutions. Identify and implement product improvements and cost-out opportunities. Establishes test criteria, participates in laboratory testing, and analyzes test data to identify and optimize product performance characteristics. Works closely with the designer group in generating drawing and BOM layout concepts and system configurations. Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others Uses standard and advanced technical and mathematical principles, theories, concepts, techniques, processes, and best practices in field. Proficient in mechanical design and be able to conceptualize and implement design ideas into the product. Continuously increases expertise on all aspects of our product design, theory, construction, operation, and applications. Learns and applies regulatory codes such as CTI, Eurovent, GB, UL, ASME, CE, PED. Strives for continuous improvement and teamwork in a global product development and process environment. Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards. Travel periodically to BAC manufacturing facilities, suppliers, trade shows, up to 15% including internationally   NATURE & SCOPE   The Project Engineer, Closed Towers reports directly to the Closed Towers Engineering Platform Manager.    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS   Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required 4-7 years of experience with 2+ years of product development experiencepreferred. Effective communication, written and verbal, with a globally diverse audience Demonstrated effectiveness working independently and with others on design teams to understand and translate design and process engineering requirements into product line design components, subsystems and products. Demonstrated effectiveness in working in a cross-functional team to develop and plan project scope and timeline including quality, reliability, manufacturing and sourcing key metrics. Experience with  HVAC/Refrigeration, circulating air blower systems, heating & cooling systems (including refrigeration psychometrics'), and/or electrical system requirements in order to assess internal data and supplier data Strong time management, project management, and product development skills Technical Expertise: Experience with Fluid Flow, Heat Transfer, Airflow Design of Experiments; experience w/ HALT (or equivalent) preferred Familiarity w/ engineering selections for components and equipment, such as fans, pumps, piping, etc. Ability to quickly research and find technical information on the web, in textbooks and in journals Sound and/or Vibration measurement and analysis preferred Ability to interpret results of FEA/CFD, and understand potential flaws in setup Ability to manage a project budget 4546000000126

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
