Dispatcher
Responsibilities:
Manage driver performance by building relationships with drivers, establishing company performance objectives with drivers, monitoring performance and taking proper disciplinary action.
Ensure driver compliance with all company policies and act as liaison for drivers for other departments.
Provide accurate and detailed information regarding directions, load information, pick-up/delivery times and other special load related information.
Accurately inputs load and driver related information into the system.
Record any defects or damages on vehicle inspection reports.
Ensure manufacturer's loading protocols are followed in the loading area.
May include other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
2
years operational experience
TMW experience preferred
Be available for work on weekends or holidays, as advised
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills.
Extreme patience dealing with explosive situations: flawless follow-up procedures.
Comprehensive knowledge of regulations impacting daily operations. (DOT - national and state)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
