You will not be directly managing anyone, but will own the monthly-close process and well as working very closely with the CFO (who is a great mentor!) Job Duties &
Responsibilities:
Prepare necessary account reconciliations and supporting schedules, analyze all relevant general ledger information, and collaborate with the Controller to prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements promptly.
Record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Assist in the preparation of periodic budgets for various departments and operating units as required.
Work closely with the Controller to ensure all management reporting needs are met.
Follow established accounting processes and safeguard the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality.
Evaluate and recommend inventory and other controls to reduce costs or increase profitability.
Effectively communicate with warehouse, operations, office, and sales personnel to streamline processes.
Identify opportunities to enhance operating efficiencies based on data analysis.
Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate seasonal and business needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance prefferred Proven experience (5
years) in accounting or financial management roles.
Proficiency in Excel Full-cycle accounting, financial statement, accrual experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
